Biography
Dr. Sahar Hooshmand is an academician and researcher in the field of epidemiological child nutrition. She had a practice career after graduating from S.N.D.T. Women’s University of Mumbai, India. She is currently working at “My health realm†as R &D partnership in the Netherlands. Her study and research areas include malnutrition, child growth, diet pattern, and child growth. She was honored to achieve a verified certificate in • Nutrition and cancer. Wageningen university, Netherlands (2019), • The science of weight loss from The University of Newcastle, Australia. (2019), • Nutrition and Health: Macronutrients and Overnutrition. The University of Wageningen, Netherlands (2021) • Plant-Based Diets: Food for a Sustainable Future, the University of Wageningen, Netherlands (2023). She published and presented several books and papers in some journals and international congresses. She has participated as a lecturer at the department of food science and nutrition in Iran and as a trainer in family education courses conducted by education and training organizations.
